Taking a day off…

Published by lwatrous at 8:34 pm under Reflections Edit This

Tomorrow’s my birthday so I’m aiming to take my first full day off since the beginning of the year when I started this freelance writing venture.  Let’s see how that goes.

That’s my biggest piece of advice so far in the working from home game…. schedule days off!  My problem has been that I never get done what I set out to get done, and so it all bleeds over and over and over and I never seem to get anything done outside of my job.  My house is a mess!

Hubby’s finally going back to work Tuesday, so that will help in terms of keeping a schedule and finances.  This means that in a few more months I will be able to take a step back and work for extra money rather than all the money.  Hopefully I’ll get a mojo going that will allow me to be super-productive getting work done, school done, and keeping the house clean!  Though it seems impossible, it won’t be!  I know it!  Just keep telling yourself that and let’s see how we do.

Until next time….

Keep Hope Alive!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

It is a really hard balance when you work at home. With blogs, there’s *always* something you could be doing - promoting, adding links to your blogroll, creating pages, researching and writing….. My house needs a nice cleaning, too!

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! I don’t have much time left for promotion and I haven’t even started the blogroll for this one yet! I need to find more time to dedicate to the blog, but it’s sooo hard considering I have to take the higher paying work first.

    Thanks for stopping by, too.
