Road to Personal Success

Could it be that my birthday brought my loved ones good luck?  For so long we’ve had obstacle after obstacle kick us down faster than we could get up.  Usually we can get through one hurdle before the next one knocks us down, and for the last 5 months, it’s been hell.

Well, I was depressed that we couldn’t do anything special, not just for my birthday, but because we haven’t done anything fun in awhile now.  I’m better now, because staying in and taking a day off was what I needed.  Except that I didn’t really take the day off, but…

I had a ton of email to go through.  New writers to hire, etc.  I got a job with RichWomenSisterhood.com that I applied for weeks ago and had pretty much forgotten about. It hopefully will be a profitable venture (it’s just revenue sharing but it looks nicer than most) and their were only 6 people hired. 

Hubby got word that he officially starts work Tuesday, and Mom got a call to come in for a job interview (she’s been out of work since May!) that she went to today.

Sometimes a few good news tidbits is all you need–because today ended up being one of the most productive days I’ve had in awhile!  All you need to do is find the good in something, and it’ll give you the extra push you need.
